Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Modern Rishi uses cookies, browser storage and comparable technologies. Strictly necessary functionality is available without optional consent. Anonymous Vercel Web Analytics uses no cookies. YouTube and subscription-related external services load only when you deliberately choose to use them.

1. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text records placed in a browser by a website or service. Similar technologies include local storage, scripts, pixels and identifiers that store information or communicate with another service. Some are required for a requested feature; others are optional and require consent.

2. Categories and services

Google reCAPTCHAGoogleEvaluates technical and interaction signals to protect the subscription form against automated abuse.Subscription service; loaded together with the form only after the visitor's choice.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

Necessary storage supports the visitor's privacy choice, protected test access and requested device-local progress. These functions do not load optional third-party analytics or media. Rejecting optional services does not prevent access to the public page, legal pages or the ordinary non-third-party functions of the site.

4. Anonymous Vercel Web Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate visits without cookies or persistent identifiers on the visitor's device. A hash derived from the incoming request supports daily visitor counting and is discarded after 24 hours. The service does not identify visitors across different days or websites. See the Vercel Web Analytics privacy information.

5. Embedded YouTube media

Before consent, a locally rendered privacy placeholder occupies the video area and no YouTube iframe is created. Selecting “Load video” enables the media category and loads the privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com. Playback may still allow Google/YouTube to use cookies or similar storage and to process connection and usage data according to the Google Privacy Policy.

6. MailerLite and Google reCAPTCHA

The newsletter form is initially replaced by a local explanation. MailerLite and reCAPTCHA scripts load only if you enable subscription services in the settings or select the button to load the form. Form submission then sends the information entered and relevant technical and consent records to the providers so the requested double opt-in can be completed. Merely rejecting optional services does not send information to these services.

7. Giving, refusing and withdrawing consent

There is no privacy banner on arrival. YouTube and the newsletter form remain local placeholders until you choose to load them. Your service choices are stored locally. Use “Privacy settings” in the footer at any time to change or withdraw them. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. If a service has already loaded, the page reloads after withdrawal so it is no longer included.

8. Browser controls

Browsers allow you to view, block and delete cookies and site data. You can also clear Modern Rishi's locally stored consent and progress through browser settings. Blocking all storage may prevent private access persistence, saved progress or privacy preferences from working. Browser-level controls operate in addition to the site's privacy settings.
